Four projects are proposed along the HWY 130/1st St Corridor within the town. Improvements range from repairing sidewalks, pedestrian ramps and driveways, to a trail connecting Valley Foods and The Airport to Downtown

Downtown Intersection Crossing Improvements (Tier 1)

Sidewalk, Curb Ramp, & Driveway Re-Construction (Tier 1)

Path From The Grocery Store to Downtown (Tier 1)

Highway 130 Corridor Improvements

Crossing improvements could be implemented to reduce speeds through the downtown core and improve pedestrian safety at key crossings including Main, Bridge, Spring, and Elm Avenue. Possible treatments could include curb extensions and a pedestrian-activated beacon.

This project includes updating sidewalks and curb ramps to ADA standards along Highway 130 from Hugus Mullison Ditch to Saratoga Ave. The project would require partnering with WyDOT and would involve drainage improvements.

A separated path along the Highway connecting the southern residential areas and the grocery store to the Town center.

Crossing Improvements at Sage Ave (Tier 1)

Conduct an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing analysis across highway. Evaluate the installation of yield triangle markings and enhancing the crosswalk with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons.
